Mr. Gilmartin was born in Malden, MA, on January 7, 1943, son of the late Thomas Gilmartin and Mary Elwood Gilmartin. Paul grew up in Stoneham, MA, attended St. Patrick’s Grammar School and graduated from Malden Catholic High School in 1961 where he played both football and hockey. He was a member of the 1960 State Championship Hockey Team and captained the team in 1961. Paul continued his education at Merrimack College where he was a member of the varsity hockey team and graduated with the class of 1964. In 1986 Paul was the recipient of the prestigious J. Suzanne M. Hosmer, 75
Andover, MA — Suzanne Hosmer, born in Nyack, New York, passed away peacefully and comfortably surrounded by her family at the Merrimack Valley Hospice Home in Haverhill on the evening of February 19. Suzanne suffered a stroke on February 12, was transported first to Lawrence General Hospital and shortly after her arrival there was medivac’d to Massachusetts General Hospital where she spent 6 days in the intensive care unit. She developed complications, including pneumonia as a result of her brain bleed and swelling. She was transported to the Merrimack Valley Hospice Home in Haverhill for comfort and peace on the morning of February 19. She was 75 years old. A longtime resident of Andover, Suzanne was a school teacher until the age of 37 then focused life on being a wife, mother and grandmother. She was a beloved wife to Edward Hosmer, endearing mother to 3 children, Melissa, Matthew (daughter-in-law, Kristina) and Stephen (daughter-in-law, Cara) and loving Grandmother to 7 grandchildren, Olivia, Ingrid, Kayla, Cole, Cameron, Cooper and Victoria. She was a devout Catholic and member of St. Augustine Parish, an active liturgical minister, Catechumen and bible study leader. She enjoyed life filled with her faith, Tai Chi, movies, reading and spending time with her family and friends. The immediate family attended a private ceremony on February 21, at 3 p.m. Suzanne will be deeply missed and remembered by all whom knew her.Continued ...

Victor was born in North Andover to the late Victor George and Alma (Lockhart) Brightman. He graduated from Johnson High School, Class of 1946, and was a member of the Trinitarian Congregational Church in North Andover. As a lifelong North Andover resident, Victor will be fondly remembered for his love of a glass of iced coffee and a long conversation with his many friends. He was a machinist for Davis and Furber and Borden Chemical. Later, he was employed for many years by the North Andover School System as a custodian for both the middle school and high school.
