Blumstein has interests of all students

Editor, Townsman:

I urge Andover voters to be at the polls for the town election on March 25 and to vote for Joel Blumstein for School Committee. He has been a member of the School Improvement Council at the high school for the last three years and is a member of the advisory committee looking at potential new schedules for the high school.

He has the time to keep up with the rapidly changing world of science and technology and to establish policy that will provide real educational challenges for our students. At the same time, he is also ready to provide the vital support needed for our special needs students.

He understands that, given fiscal realities, difficult choices must be made. He will also bring the perspective and decision-making skills needed to weigh complex and often competing factors and make the best possible decisions in the interests of all our students.

Joel understands that we have a large and complex school system and a student population with a very wide range of educational needs. He is prepared to take on the many challenges involved in setting a course for a first-class school system in Andover.

Please vote for Joel Blumstein for School Committee on Tuesday, March 25.
