On Tuesday, March 25, it will be a great pleasure to vote for my friend, Mary O’Donoghue, for selectman for the town of Andover.
I believe that the main issue facing our town today is tax relief for our overburdened taxpayers, particularly our senior citizens who are especially hard pressed.
Mary has served with distinction for 12 years on the Andover Finance Committee and has been a model of fiscal responsibility and spending restraint.
She has the experience and knowledge to provide the leadership needed to craft a town budget that serves the genuine needs of the town, while keeping spending within sustainable levels. She has the ability, rare in politics, for saying “no.”
I urge my fellow Andover voters to join with me in supporting her candidacy.
