The Andover Townsman
---- — Editor, Townsman:
The true test of a state senator is his
responsiveness to local issues.
In my years in town government I
have called upon Barry Finegold several times during his term as
state senator. Senator Finegold supported municipal health insurance
reform legislation that meant meaningful savings for taxpayers in
Andover. He strongly supported the bill’s passage in the Senate
and the result was, Andover saved over $1,000,000 in insurance
premiums. I feel that Andover doesn’t often get its fair share of
local aid from the state. In response, I feel Finegold was able to help
Andover get the largest allocation of education money ever.
Additionally, Finegold pushed for and achieved increased
levels of unrestricted government aid for Andover for this fiscal
year.
In my estimation, Finegold
consistently delivers for Andover. He works hard to see that the town
and its residents thrive.
If you value a representative who works
tirelessly and is responsive to Andover, Senator Finegold is your
candidate. He has earned my vote on Nov. 6 because he
gets the job done.
