Letter: Carbone is antagonist, not watchdog

Carbone is antagonist, not watchdog

Editor, Townsman:

Unfortunately your paper has made a serious mistake by labeling Carbone a "watchdog" in the Aug. 5, 2010 edition of the Townsman. Carbone will believe this is validation.

Carbone doesn't get it. She is not a watchdog, she is an antagonist and a disruptive force with nothing positive to offer. She is not interested in Andover or its functions. She is interested only in attracting attention to herself. And now with this validation, and our selectmen asking her to leave, she will become more of a problem.

I am sympathetic with our town selectmen who are trying to do a good job, and they are correct; Carbone has had free rein for too long.

The only way Carbone should make the Townsman is in the police log.
