Tomasek hard-working and selfless, not flashy

I am writing to share why I believe Jamison Tomasek is our best choice for State Senator. I have been fortunate enough to know him for the past seven years. He is a wonderful husband, father and friend. He is married to one of my oldest and dearest friends and as her husband I have seen him step up as an equal partner and a constant source of support. Whether it was in times of crisis, like the sudden loss of her mother to cancer, or in times of great joy, like when she recently decided to pursue graduate school. He is selfless and dedicated and extremely devoted to the people he cares about. I know he will bring this same kind of dedication and compassion to the role of state senator.
He entered this race at the beginning before it was the popular thing to do. He entered for one simple reason, he saw problems in the way things are currently being done and he wanted to be part of the solution to help fix them. He brings to the table 18 years of experience in accounting and internal audit. He is the right choice because he has devoted his career to helping companies make sound financial decisions. This is exactly the kind of person we need helping to fix the current financial problems that plague our towns and our state. As a registered Independent voter, I have received all of the mailings and phone calls from the many candidates now vying for this seat. These mailings are big, flashy and numerous. I will tell you right now, Tomasek will not be the flashiest candidate in this election that just isn't his style. However, he will be the hardest working. In these trying fiscal times, when I think of the kind of person we need to help improve our state and local economy I think of someone who is honest, straightforward and most of all intelligent. Jamison Tomasek is that candidate.
