Finegold quickly solved her problem

When I was having problems transferring my husband's medical insurance to me as his surviving spouse three months after his death I contacted state Rep. Barry Finegold's office. The problem was solved within three hours.
I have always found Finegold to be one of those rare elected officials who listen to his constituents. This is only one more reason to elect him to the office of state senator.

It was the Saturday of the town's Earth Day Yard sale, and I left my house with a sigh; a sigh, because life was hard, my circumstances felt beyond my control, and my heart's sky was as overcast as the day.
School Committee: 66 pink slips much larger than will be required

Dear Parents and Community Members:
On Tuesday, May 15, the School Department issued non-renewal (pink slip) notices to all 66 of our non-professional status teachers. These are teachers with less than three-years full-time teaching experience in the Andover School System. We would like to explain to the community why that needed to be done.
