Wrestling breaks through with victory



Witten stars from deep

Jessica Witten hit a trio of 3-pointers on her way to 15 points to lead Andover past North Andover 58-42 last Friday. Alyssa Casey scored 10 points and Rachael Cormier added nine points for the winners.


Aronov takes all-around

Andover’s Joseph Aronov won the all-around with a 44.2 score at the Coaches Invitational last Thursday. Evan Igoe tied for first on the floor with a 7.6 and Dan Harvey won the bars for the Warriors.

Boys swimming

Camin leads the way

Vince Camin placed third overall in the 100 breaststroke in 59.99 and swam on the 200-medley relay that was also third in 1:43.01 to lead Andover to a sixth-place finish at the North Sections on Sunday. Eric Shi added a fourth in the 500 freestyle and fifth in the 200 IM. Joe Carroll, Max Blanch and Santi Alegria joined Camin on the relay.


Alois pots three

Veronica Alois again lit the lamp three times to help Andover top Chelmsford 6-4 last Thursday. Jacquelyn Leone, Caroline Curtin and Caroline Hughes each scored single goals and Jojo Olson and Brenna Keefe each had an assist for the winners.


Warriors split

Led by a fifth-place finish for Jake Tarricone, Andover beat Austin Prep 115-20 last Tuesday, Feb. 4.


Jake Tarricone again took fifth, but Andover lost to St. John’s Prep 109.5-25.5 last Thursday.
