Two Andover athletes have been chosen to participate in the Massachusetts celebration of National Girls and Women in Sport Day at Faneuil Hall in Boston on Friday, Feb. 5, from 10 a.m. to noon. This ceremony, which is sponsored by New Agenda Northeast and the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association, honors female athletes because they are positive, contributing members of both their teams and their school, according to the MIAA.
Participating athletes from Andover High School include Kylie Nagy who plays field hockey and lacrosse, and Molly Van Doren, who competes at cross country, indoor and outdoor track.
