---- — Patrick Dennehy belted a lead-off home run, and Andover National rolled from there on the way to beating Tewksbury American 15-4 on Sunday.
Alec Haffner was 2 for 4 with three RBIs while John Gemmell clubbed a three-run homer, Chris Rassias had two hits and two RBIs and Andrew Theriault knocked in two runs and pitched two innings. Colin Kirkpatrick was the winner, working two innings.
Andover National was battling North Andover West Tuesday night as The Townsman went to press.
On Saturday, trailing by a run heading into the fifth inning, Patrick Dennehy doubled, Andrew Theriault reached on a fielder’s choice and both scored on a double by Joe Biddle to give Andover National a 10-9 win over North Andover East.
Biddle had three hits on the day, including a homer in the fourth, an inning in which Theriault also went long. Nick Christopher added two doubles, Nick Dellatto earned the victory and Steve Shaw closed it out.
Chris Rassias and Patrick Dennehy each pitched three innings, combining to give up just two hits as Andover National blasted Lowell Callery 13-1 last Tuesday. Joe Biddle homered to lead the Andover charge.
Nick Silva had three hits and shined at first base, but Andover American lost to Tewksbury National 6-3 last Tuesday. Matt Potts had an RBI single while George Kombouras and Keegan O’Connor each added a hit for National.
Andover American allowed just two hits, but still fell to North Andover West 3-1 on Monday.
