Andover freshman wins golf tourney

Andover resident Hunter Guidoboni won the Lowell Junior Cities Golf Championship for age 15 and younger last month with a score of 85.

Hunter is 14 and is now a freshman at Andover High School.

The match was played at Vesper Country Club on Aug. 9. The Lowell Junior Cities Tournament is played by the six qualifiers from Vesper Country Club, Longmeadow Country Club, Mount Pleasant Country Club and Nabnassett Country Club.

Vesper won the team trophy for the 15 and under.
