Weezie Gross scored a pair of goals, including the winner with 1:52 remaining in the game as Andover topped Waltham 3-2 last Wednesday. Emily Appleton added the other goal and an assist while MacKenzie Dutton earned the win with 17 saves.

Fazio, Warriors hold on
Ally Fazio was key on the offensive end with two crucial 3-pointers, and came up big on defense by forcing an air ball in final seconds as Andover held on for its 25th straight win, besting upset-minded Billerica 53-52.
Nicole Boudreau hit six 3-pointers on the way to 23 points and Devon Caveney chipped in with two 3's for the winners.

Angelice Gonzalez scored eight points against her former mates as Andover topped Lawrence 69-25 last Tuesday. Nicole Boudreau needed just a quarter to scored a team-high 15 points while sister Danielle Boudreau chipped in with seven points for the winners.

Christopher, Andover keep dominating
Andover continued to dominate, as Kerry Christopher took the top-overall spot, one of three top-5 finishes as Andover beat Masconomet 101-34. Golden Warrior Jess Kearns finished third while Julia Ganley was fourth, Nicole Erickson was seventh and Sarah Faigel placed eighth overall.

Freshmen star for winners
Andover's freshman played like seasoned veterans, as Dave Giribaldi sunk 15 points and fellow ninth grader Connor Merinder added 10 points and 10 rebounds as the Golden Warriors topped Billerica 66-54 last Tuesday. Sam Dowden chipped in with a team-high 18 points for the Golden Warriors.

Despite a game-high 19 points for Sam Dowden, Andover fell to Lawrence 54-38 on Friday. James Costello added 10 points.

Flaherty wins all-around
Cody Flaherty won the high bar (7.7), placed second in the parallel bars, pommel horse, rings and vault and took the all-around with a 42.0 as Andover bested Salem 149.9-132.1 last Tuesday. Brian Manning added wins in the floor, parallel bars, pommel horse and rings for the winners.

Iannalfo, Belanger roll
Dave Iannalfo won the 200 IM (2:11.78) and 100 butterfly (56.75) and John Belanger took the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle as Andover beat Chelmsford 101-83 on Friday. Dave Hunter chipped in with a victory in the 500 freestyle and swam on the 200 medley relay.

Dave Hunter won the 100 freestyle and swam on the winning 200 medley and 400 freestyle relay as Andover rolled past Lexington 95-73 last Tuesday. John Belanger took the 50 freestyle, Dave Iannalfo took the 100 butterfly and Aaron Wu won the 500 freestyle for the Warriors.
