Fresh from a victory in the only contested election he has faced in his 10-plus years as town moderator, James Doherty’s message is clear—don’t expect him to run the annual Town Meeting any differently.

Grammy Award-winning clarinetist Richard Stoltzman talks to Andover High students about his experience as a musician. Stoltzman was in town Tuesday, March 22 to perform at the Collins Center for the performing arts.

The cost of mailing a first class letter will rise to 25 cents on Sunday, April 3, but Middlesex –Essex MSC Manager Nancy L. George urges customers not to wait until the last minute to make their new stamp purchases.

Kathryn L. Mulvey, daughter of Donald and Nancy Mulvey, 104 High Plain Road, has been inducted into the Order of the Golden Fleece, the oldest and highest honorary society of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Almost 200 West Junior High School students will be heading to the Chamber Repertory Theatre’s nationally acclaimed production of Encore!! next month. The students will be in Boston’s Colonial Theatre Wednesday April 6.
