Two new Eagle Scouts in Troop 76

Derek Witt and Nick Solimini both of Troop 76 had their Eagle Scout awards presented to them this month at the BallardVale United Church.

Derek’s Eagle project was clearing land for and building a canoe launch area on newly purchased conservation land at Foster’s Pond.

Nick built an oversized chess board for the Andover Kids Club on behalf of the town of Andover and the Board of Selectmen.

Brian Major, Andover selectman, presented Derek and Nick citations recognizing their awards and accomplishments including community service. The young men’s Scoutmaster is Don Milligan.
