Weblos Pack 76 from the South Elementary School District visited WBZ-TV news station in Boston recently. The Boy Scouts group watched the 6:30 p.m. news being broadcast live, and were able to take part in the "behind the scenes" of the show.
After the evening news, they had the opportunity to meet reporters Dan Roche from Andover, Steve Burton, Ken MacLeod, and Barry Burbank from North Andover.
The Feb. 28 trip to the television station was planned for the group of boys to earn a badge in communication. The names of the individuals in the picture above, from left, are: Carissa Agostino, Molly Agostino, sports anchor Steve Burton, Sam Huntress, Caroline Huntress, PJ Ganci, Jacob Dalimonte, reporter Ken MacLeod, Noah Rodgers, Colby Agostino, Alex Yang, meteorologist Barry Burbank, Ryan Neal, Samual Zhang and Kevin Kiely.
