Derby Day

Checkered flag dropped for Andover Scouts at Pinewood Derby

Andover Cub Scouts from Andover Packs 73, 76 and 77 competed against other packs in the annual, local Pinewood Derby races last Saturday at the First Methodist Church on Route 133 in North Andover.

The boys had to build wooden cars and then race them on a standard track to see whose cars were the fastest. The top budding engineers and woodworkers next will have their cars compete in the Yankee Clipper Council West Wind District races in March.
