Sisters pair up to donate pony tails to Locks of Love

Sisters pair up to donate ponytails together

Two Andover sisters started their summer vacations with a selfless act of kindness — a pair of donations to Locks of Love.

Eleven-year-old Isabel Marble and her 8-year-old sister, Anna, both cut 10 inches of their hair off to donate to the nonprofit organization that provides wigs to children in need.

It was the third donation to Locks of Love for Anna, who just completed the second grade at South Elementary School, and the second for Isabel, who graduated from fifth grade at South last month.

The girls, who previously had made their Locks of Love donations in alternating years, were happy that both of their hair had grown long enough this time so they could share the experience together. They went to Snip Its in North Andover for the charitable cuts.

Parents John and Andrea Marble say they are very proud of their daughters.
