It was a sweet 16 salute at last Saturday night’s Holly Ball as the annual holiday event for dads and young daughters was held for the 16th consecutive year.
Dressed in holiday finery and partnered with their favorite tie-clad guys (their dads) young girls up to age 10 enjoyed ringing in the holidays at Old Town Hall. About 70 dads and daughters attended, said Mary Montblau, director of Department of Community Services, which hosts the popular event.
“It is great to see dads with their daughters dancing, laughing, and just having fun together. It’s a special night for them,” Montblau said.
