Andover residents had a pleasant late November afternoon to watch the annual Santa parade and its bands, floats, marchers and unicycle riders.

The grand marshall was Andover High School girls swim-and-dive team coach Marilyn Fitzgerald, who was joined by her athletes. Her Golden Warrior swim team was again tops in Massachusetts this year, winning its fourth straight state title last Sunday, and its 13th state title in the last 14 years.

The parade, hosted by Andover firefighters, was Sunday, Nov. 25. It concluded, as it has for 58 years, with Santa waving to children from the back of an Andover fire truck.
