Townspet of the Week

Named after two dynamic singers, short-haired brothers Jagger, left, and Jackson have been making beautiful music together since being adopted nearly 17 years ago by Bob and Marjie Dennis’ family on Orchard Crossing. Bob Marjie said he named one of the brothers after his favorite singer Mick Jagger and his daughter named the other after her favorite performer, Michael Jackson. Because Jackson has had so many surgeries during his life, Dennis said they never thought he would outlive his namesake. The tuxedos, as they’re often called, have been indoor cats all their lives and are affectionate and empathetic not only with the Dennis family (they even sense when one of their owners is not feeling well), but with each other. They can often be found sitting, sleeping and cuddling together.
