Beaver Hike: Join Educator Naturalist Dan Holbrook of North Shore Nature Programs on Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. to explore the Vale reservation in search of beavers. We will look for scent mounds, canals, and beaver chews in search of our furry friends. Meet at the end of Dale Street in Andover and please leave pets at home. This is a family event, all are welcome to walk and enjoy nature!
Skug River Reservation Hike: This hike will take in the Hammond and Skug River Reservations. Highlights include a glacial erratic, soapstone quarries, and the remains of a 19th-century grist mill. Hike Leader, Jeff LaFountain. 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. -- meet at the Skug River Reservation parking lot at 315 Salem St., Andover.
Native Wild Edibles with Russ Cohen: Join Russ Cohen, expert forager and author of Wild Plants I Have Known…and Eaten, for a 60-minute slide show featuring at least two dozen species of native edible wild plants suitable for adding to your own landscape, or nibbling on as you encounter them in other locales. 7 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Memorial Hall Library, Register at mhl.org.

Rafton Reservation Hike: Join AVIS and Andover Trails in a collaborative event with Essex County Greenbelt Association, as we hike through the Virginia Hammond and Harold Rafton Reservations. 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. Meet at the parking lot opposite the town compost site on High Plain Road.
