Tonight, April 16, the Andona Society will host a Ladies Night Out at Dylan's Bar and Grill on Park Street at 7:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend as Andona is looking for new members to join their longstanding Andover social group that is committed to providing much-needed funds to the youth of Andover.

Residents are invited to come to Dylan's, meet some new people, and learn more about the Andona Society. If you can not attend the Ladies Night Out, but are interested in learning more about Andona, contact Sherrie Kimball at or go to to learn more about Andona.

Andona's mission is to raise funds to enhance the educational, athletic and cultural enrichment programs for the youth of Andover. Proceeds from the Andona fundraisers directly benefit the youth of Andover. Andona typically hosts one or two social events, such as the Fall Fashion Show, as well as the carnival known as Clowntown in the spring. They also provide the babysitting course in the fall for middle school students and host the Spring Fling in April, a well-attended social event for all the middle school children in Andover. Some programs sponsored include Wood Hill Expeditionary Learning, programs at all of the elementary and middle schools in Andover, all-town cultural enrichment programs, AHS Senior Safari, the AHS Wrestling Team, Lady Warrior Hockey team, and the Andover High band. Additionally, Andona Society provides five $2,000 college scholarships to high school students from Andover, and money for more than 90 children to attend summer camp this year.
