Finally, the weather gods cooperated with Crafts in the Park.
What comes as an annual rite of spring, the event is almost always held under dreary, drizzly skies.
Not this year.
A stellar day met crafters and shoppers alike, as hundreds of people wandered among the tents, replete with hand-crafted items made by artisans from across Andover and New England.
The event started at 10 a.m. and lasted pretty much all day at the green space at the intersection of Bartlet and Chestnut streets.
Some 200 crafters were on-hand to sell their wares, according to event coordinator Karen Van Welden-Herman, including 17 from Andover.
There was also music, food and games for kids.
