The Merrimack Valley Players will present the comedy "Noises Off" by Michael Frayn this August.

Merrimack Valley Players promotes itself as is a not-for-profit theater organization dedicated to bringing musical and theatrical education and entertainment to the Merrimack Valley and surrounding areas.

Performances will be staged at the Rogers Center for the Arts, 315 Turnpike st., Merrimack College, North Andover. Show times are 7:30 p.m., Friday Aug. 13, and 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 14.

Andover resident Glenn Wakeley plays the role of Garry Lejeune who plays the part of Roger Tramplemain in this show about a show. Wakeley is one of the MVP's original members. He has performed in numerous stage productions and sings tenor in MVP's annual Christmas concert.
