Participants of Energize Andover's 2019 Building Energy Bootcamp presented their findings to town leaders and community members last week.
The summer program for Andover students, now in its fifth year, is a collaboration of the Department of Facilities and Anil Navkal, leader of Energize Andover and a member of the Andover Green Advisory Board.
Energize Andover participants apply to the program, which aims to enrich their math, science, communication and design skills. The program works to make students appreciate the power of data analytics by working on various data sets shared by town departments.
This year, participants had access to water usage, voting records for 20 recent elections, census data and assessor’s data.
