Heather Moody Holman will take over as president of the Andover Garden Club.

At the club's annual meeting, outgoing president Tina Girdwood passed the reins to Holman, a second-generation club member whose late mother, Barbara Moody, was a member for many years.

Holman is a realtor who grew up in Andover and has been active in several civic and business organizations.

Created in 1927, the Andover Garden Club is a charitable organization that encourages the study and practice of horticulture, landscape design and floral design. The club also works to beauty the town and helps protect and conserve natural resources.

The club is open to new members. Information about joining is available from Liz Bell at, or by phone at 978-475-3021.
