High Pointe of Merrimack Valley Hospice in Haverhill is the benefactor of a recent fundraiser at the Lanam Club in Andover.

The Fall Harvest event took place on Nov. 2 at the club on North Main Street and was designed to help High Pointe. The event featured a three-course dinner prepared by Chef Richard Gianelly, as well as dancing and a wine tasting.

As a result of the event, the Lanam Club was able to donate $3,500 to the High Pointe House.

"The members involved are supporters of High Pointe House and approached me to facilitate the event,'' said Lanam Club General Manager Geoff Piva. "This is something we plan on doing as an annual event for our members and to support High Pointe.''

Piva recently presented a $3,500 check to Lauren Brousseau, philanthropy manager for the Home Health Foundation.

"Lanam Club is always excited to give back to the community when possible," Piva said.
