Death Cafe

On Wednesday, Aug.14, join other adults for Andover's 15th Death Cafe.

The evening will feature open, lively, and insightful discussion about death. While not a support group nor a venue for bereavement, a Death Cafe seeks to provide an unscripted, non-judgmental platform for those wishing to explore the many facets of death. Come with an open mind, a healthy curiosity, and a willingness to share your thoughts, feelings, and questions with other like-minded individuals.

Refreshments will be served at 6:30 p.m., followed by the event at 7 p.m. Seating is limited. Sign up at


Adult board games

On Sunday, Aug. 4, at 1:15 p.m., enjoy board games with other adults in the library activity room. Bring your own games or play one of ours.


Maker Morning

On Tuesdays, Aug. 6, 13, 20 and 27, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., learn how to use the 3D printer, vinyl cutters, poster printer and other devices at the library.


Pub trivia

On Tuesday, Aug. 13, at 7 p.m., Memorial Hall Library will host trivia at Andolini's. Test your knowledge and try to win a cash prize of $50.


Device Advice

On Tuesdays, Aug. 6 and 20, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., bring your technology questions to the library reference desk.

Get help with the basics for iPads, cellphones, laptops, Kindles and other e-readers. Bring your chargers, usernames and passwords. If you're unable to attend, stop by the reference desk anytime for device assistance.

Computer Users Group on Monday, Aug. 12, at 1:30 p.m. in Memorial Hall – Topic: Selling on eBay & Craigslist. Facilitated by librarians — a collaboration of the library and the Center at Punchard.

Discover Your Past Genealogy Club on Thursday, Aug. 8, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in Memorial Hall.
