Town Manager Andrew Flanagan said in a story on the front page of this week's Townsman that he and his team of department heads have decided how the town’s share of the Columbia Gas settlement money should be spent: primarily on ‘hard surfaces’ such as roads, sidewalks and parking areas damaged by the Sept. 13 explosions; but also a number of Capital Improvement Projects on the town’s list, such as helping to finance the senior center and building a sidewalk around The Park near Town Offices. He needs Town Meeting approval for his plan. Do you think residents should be able to consider other projects, beyond Flanagan’s proposal?
