What do you think about the return of carpool lane restrictions on Interstate 93? The state resumed limits this week on the high-occupancy vehicle lanes on I-93, including the lane for inbound traffic from Medford to the Zakim Bridge in Boston. The state Department of Transportation had suspended the requirement that cars in HOV lanes have at least two passengers, to ease congestion caused by roadwork on the Tobin Bridge on Route 1. But the Conservation Law Foundation threatened to sue, arguing that HOV lanes are a needed check on air pollution. What do you think?
