Gertrude "Trudy" Petzold, longtime resident of Hannah Dustin Health Care Center, passed away peacefully August 11, 2017. She was raised in Winthrop, resided in Andover, and retired to Key Largo, Fla. Trudy enjoyed life to the fullest. She was the owner of Vogue Beauty Shop for many years which she loved. She traveled the US, Europe, and the Far East. She was loved by many due to her wonderful personality, generosity, and devotion to her faith. She will be truly missed. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul, and sister, Ann Burke. She leaves her son, Paul and wife, Linda of Cape Coral, Fla.; daughters, Heidi White of Vancouver, Wash., and Edith Mckinnon and husband, Paul of Merrimac, Mass.; grandchildren, Sean Ross and wife, Stephanie, Aimee Fotino and husband, Kenneth, Lauren Remes and husband, Richard, Kelly O'Connor and husband, Michael, Sharon Petzold and partner, Benjamin, and Brenda Petzold-Ely and husband, Andrew; 16 great-grandchildren; and four nieces and nephews, Kevin Burke, Karen Osborn, Andrea Adornato and Douglas Burke, who were treated as her own. Not to be forgotten, she is also survived by her lifetime friend, Carolyn Goodwin, and roommate, Marilyn Belanger, of 10 years, her devoted avocate. We her family would like to thank Hannah Dustin for their many years of dedicated care.
