Ainsley Napolitano made three saves to help Andover clinch a win over perennial power and archrival Central Catholic 2-1 on Saturday. Samantha Jenney and Dylan Troy each scored a goal for the winners.


Hannah Jordan and Michaela Buckley each scored a goal, and the Andover defense didn’t allow a shot on net in a 2-0 win over Dracut last Tuesday.

Field Hockey Reilly, Beucler net two

Emma Reilly and Olivia Beucler each scored twice as Andover rolled past Central Catholic 6-1 last Tuesday. Casey Michael and Haley Carver each scored once and Adelaide Weeded made four saves for the winners.


Brooke Cedorchuk, Casey Michael, Hailey Carver, Tess Gobiel, Madeleine Harris and Mia Batchelder each tallied a goal as Andover rolled over Haverhill 6-0 last Wednesday.

Girls Volleyball Miele, Kobelski deliver big days

Sophia Miele tallied 16 digs, 17 service points and eight kills as Andover bested Chelmsford 3-1 last Wednesday.

Ava Sipley had 29 assists and Sophia Pierce had a team-high 18 service points.


Marissa Kobelski had team-highs in kills (9) and blocks (4) and added 10 digs in a 3-0 win over Methuen last Tuesday. Ava Sipley added 24 assists and Olivia Foster chipped in with 15 service points for the winners.

Boys Cross Country Kirn, Serrano lead the way

Colin Kirn (14:36), Matt Serrano (14:39) and Pat McCarthy (14:40) took the top three spots overall as Andover topped Chelmsford (20-35) and Billerica (27-28) last Wednesday. Mike Brown was next in at sixth (15:23).

Girls Cross Country Kiley dominates

Molly Kiley again ran to victory, in 16:10, and Andover swept Chelmsford (19-44) and Billerica (22-39) last Wednesday. Leila Boudries was in third (17:54) and Claire DeMersseman was fifth (18:19).

Boys Soccer Ardito scores two

Tyler Ardito tallied a pair of goals to lead Andover past Dracut 6-1 last Tuesday. Brian Gibson, Jackson Brown and Owen Chanthaboun each had a single goal.


Despite a goal by Jackson Brown, Andover fell to Chelmsford 2-1 last Thursday.

Golf Maggio takes two wins

Nick Ventura (3 and 2), Noah Farland (3 and 2), Jack Simms (2 and 1) and Brady Maggio (3 and 2) each had a win, but Andover lost to Tewksbury 10-9 last Tuesday.


Brady Maggio had Andover’s lone win (2-up) as the Golden Warriors fell to North Andover 17-3 last Wednesday.
